Z57
Reviews and Complaints
They post erroneous information under my name on the internet.
On Sept. 12, 2016 I signed up for Z57 Property pulse.
That same day they sent an email, which appeared to come from me, to my entire data base with malfunctioning links. I called my salesperson & immediately cancelled. Followed up with an email. 2 weeks later I noticed they posted inappropriate content to my business FB page.
I called & the high pressure sales person refused to refund my AMEX card stating I was past my 3 day cancellation period. I forwarded him the email where I cancelled the exact same day I signed up. He said he could cancel but I would still need to pay the remainder of my contract. Then they began posting listings to my FB business page with inaccurate pricing.
My seller saw & withdrew her contract from me.
I have close to 50 correspondence where I have tried to cancel and receive a refund, but they refuse and continue to post everyday the listing with the inaccurate price. I've even spoken to management about this entire scenario & for 3 months nothing has been done.

Preferred solution: They need to not bill be the last month since I gave them a 28 day notice and they have plenty of time to cancel my program. They won't be out any money but they sure took a lot of mine for not doing what was promised
Horrible company !!!!!! From a former employee
Good Afternoon Mr. Weber, this letter is to let you know my experience working for you and your company, Z57. Coming from a finance/real estate background I had a sense of giving myself an opportunity to spread my wings and do what a few people had in their minds, make a very good income and love what you do. Well, I was interviewed by
Mike Weeks, who at the time was the Regional Sales manager along with Aaron Prichard. During the interview, he explained to me that “we” spend a lot of money to invest in our employees (pre interview and test screening, meaning to see if you are a
“Go getter”). Mr. Weeks asked me a few questions, and along with the tens of thousands of managers across the country asked, “Where do you see yourself in the next five years?” I replied, I want to be sitting in your chair! Nothing against Mike, but my goals was to exceed the average level. I want to gain the confidence and respect from the owner to trust my ability to hire the RIGHT group of people who understand my goals and instill them with the tools to be a success not only for themselves but the company also. He also said we go through a rigorous process of hiring only the individuals that we see can fit within the company’s philosophy. Don Gerould, president, also emphasize this during my training.
So along came the training, Brandon Stigers gave about a week and one half of informative training on sales technique and the product (to develop and create websites for real estate professionals). I thought he did a great job. He also emphasized, as I did earlier, that the company spends “thousands of dollars” of training and prescreening to make sure the candidate is the right fit for the job. Of course, that is not always true.
A few “eggs” are tossed out to make room for those who (the majority), with proper training, product knowledge, and determination are left to succeed.
I was looking forward to going in the “war room” and make a big difference. Of course, you can not see results right away. However, I did everything to make sure I was producing the results within the time allowed (I did produce three sales).
Scott Carlton and Brandon Inouye did a good job teaching me on how I can get around the obvious objections from potential clients. NO one, expected results within a month…right Steve? In any type of business, whether selling scotch tape, furniture, cars, homes, etc. you need some time to familiarize yourself and study to learn that particular trade. Well, after about 5 weeks of training, working on our “lines”, and dialing well over
100 calls/240 min. each day, along with a few of my co workers who started with me, received their first verbal warning from Amanda Camuro, temporary sales manager.
I was surprised given the holiday season, and shorter work week. She also stated if I do not produce two sales this week, I will be written up, and the third week will then seek termination.
Ms. Camuro gave her reasoning of “lack of sales”. She went on to her “catbird seat” to let me know she sold 13 her first month! Wow, I thought good for you! She went on to say you need to sell two websites a week. We have your signed copy of the new
“terms and conditions”. Signed copy? I did not sign anything…she went on to say, “Yes, we gave it to everyone to sign during our daily meeting a couple of weeks ago”. She asked me if I needed some more training and I said, “YES, did you forget it has only been 5 weeks?” Her reply was, “we need people to get results now!” Is this an example of positive energy? I then asked Bill Tarter, Amanda’s boss, to give me some insight on why after five weeks there is now a NEW policy in affect. He explained to me that this policy is the new rule. I explained to him, that I am here to work hard and will do anything, whether it is product info, learning a new technique, etc. to sharpen my tools.
I also told him that this policy may create an “in/out revolving door” company. You are supposedly spending thousands of dollars on training to new hirers and then decide to let them go? This doesn’t make any sense. Do you want to be recognized has this type of example? He responded, “Absolutely not”.
Well, after only five weeks, I have my first verbal warning. You have yelled, kick, and screamed “positive” energy to your staff and employees, I have only experienced a negative force from Ms. Camuro, who lacks the “HUMAN element” of being recognized as a manager, she is merely an “executive secretary” in my eyes. Many of my
co-workers feel the same way. According to a recent Forbes Magazine article (which you adore your framed #2174 ranking out of 5000 companies in the lobby) it takes AT least three to four months for a new employee to get himself/herself to learn the business practices/goals of a company, NO matter how many years he/she has learned from the past. I understand this is a business, and there are goals, there are also realistic goals.
Mr. Tarter has some type of vision where everyone needs to hammer out 3-5 sales a week very soon. That is unrealistic. If this was true you would have more than six “vets” on your sales floor in the past 9 years. According to Mr. Weeks, during my interview, he explained to me that over half of the sales force were let go earlier in the year due to “cost”. I didn’t quite understand that. However, there was a pattern of 85 to 90% of the sales staff either were let go or quit! I believe in my experience of managing you must have a realistic goal and create a solution to your goal instead of “do this, or else”.
One more thing, you pump up your “Z57 Vision” core of values. Let us go through the real value of a few, shall we?
We are positive and inspiring- Ms. Camuro is neither.
We have fun- Fun? You invite the employees to a Christmas party, and you have a few appetizers, with the restaurant taking away what is left at exactly 9pm off the floor with the remaining guests coming late with nothing to eat. Some of your employees expressed the same feelings as I did, upset and disappointed. Maybe, one of the reasons, people leave the company because they do not feel appreciated.
I have NEVER attended a work Christmas party that at the very least gave their employees dinner and drinks.
Here is a suggestion- a company is built on not of their product, but the workers. The employees build the core and foundation of what a company is today, not the product. Without the employees, a company is stagnate. For the next Christmas party, write a bigger check and with more class, or do not have one at all. Be the one in a million, instead of the one of a million.
Exceed expectations- I certainly exceeded expectations along with others within a timeframe, but again, “you clipped my wings before I can fly”.
Appreciate and recognize- This is the most damning! On my last day of getting one deal. I opened a lady in Newport Beach around 3pm and she agreed to a closing at 4pm. Unfortunately, she was not there. But I wanted to call back in another five minutes to reach her. However, Mr. Tarter took me away trying to get the deal and told me that they are letting me go due to lack of sales. I asked him, “give me a chance to go back and call her in the next 5 – 10 minutes so I may reach my goal. His reply? - NO. You must be joking! In the past many sales reps have stayed hours after 4:00p to achieve their weekly/monthly goals. BOTTOM LINE- Mr. Tarter did not recognize the drive nor appreciate what I was trying to do for myself and the company. That in turn is a BAD OMEN for him and unfortunately for your company. You boast your company to be inspired, commitment, maximize, and honesty and turn it to a highly Bullsh** image of negative, dishonesty and selfishness.
Mr. Weber, before creating a “Core Value Chart”, you must FOLLOW each one. It is easier to say it (RA, RA!! Clap your hands, jump on tables…) than truly carrying out the statement. I do NOT thank you for giving me the opportunity to work for your company. Instead if I knew before what this company truly represents, I would have never accepted this position and put my energy towards another job. Good luck to your future endeavors.
Regards,

Z57 Internet Marketing Service Review from Roswell, Georgia
Weak product
- Outdated product
- Not being able to cancel bad service
- Not converting 1 lead - poor
Preferred solution: Stop sending me threatening payment notices - I sent my response that I informed the sales associate to discontinue service but it never was relayed properly. They refuse to address that email I sent.
Worst Company period
I was looking to increase my leads, and they called at the right time where i was open to looking at new marketing programs. They talked me into it and I signed up.
Two weeks after I signed up, one of their sales people contacted me and tried selling me a pay for click program for an additional $200/month. I declined and did not hear from them again until I attempted to cancel. They said I signed up for a year and too bad. I had another sales person call me 7 months later and I cut him short saying, "thank you for your call, I was just going to call you to cancel.
Can you help me with that?" He looked up my account and said my expiration was 3/31/16. I called today and they said I needed to give them 30 day notice. I told her that I had talked to one of their people a month ago, and of course they had no record of that. Unbelievable!
No results, no service, and not willing to help once you tell them you want to cancel. Stay away!
Preferred solution: Cancel my contract now!
Z57 hijacked my URL and email and holds me hostage at $70 per month
If I could drive to their location to speak to a manager, I would do so. I have been with the company for over a decade where they have extracted nearly $9,000 from me for a website and email service.
I was threatened fines by my mls because it turns out that the IDX feed they used was illegal. So I hired another company - TWO YEARS AGO- to run a site. For 2 years, at $70 a month to Z57, I have attempted to resolve the issue - like have them release my URL (that I owned prior to their building me a website) and to switch out my email. There is never a manager on duty to speak to me.
My requests to speak to a manager will take "3 business days to respond to" although when I speak to the next rep 3 days later, they say that there is no request logged. This is quite the scam.
If anyone else reading this has had a similar experience, contact me and we can work together with an attorney to seek resolution. Emily Dishman, Fortus Realty 208-704-**** (I would include my email - but they have hijacked it)
- Hijacked my url
- No manager will call me back for 2 years
- Tried to cancel for 2 years
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
